What happens when young women get the space, tools and confidence to tell their own stories? Re[tell] : WearHerStory brings creativity, sustainability, storytelling and emerging technology together to explore identity and self-expression. Led by Dundalk Institute of Technology, the workshop gives seldom-heard young women an opportunity to share their experiences, build confidence and explore how clothing and creativity can tell powerful stories. Expect an open, creative and collaborative experience that challenges conventional ideas about fashion, identity and sustainability, while putting the voices of young women firmly centre stage.

Lights, camera, climate action! RE[screen] : Climate Outdoor Cinema brings climate stories to the big screen. Expect a carefully curated selection of thought-provoking films and documentaries exploring the environment, climate change, communities and the people working to create change. From global challenges to local stories, these films offer new perspectives, spark conversations and show that climate storytelling can take many forms. Grab a seat, settle in and prepare to laugh, think, question and maybe see the world a little differently when the credits roll.

Step aboard the Lady of the Lagan and see Belfast from a different perspective. RE[connect] : With Lagan is a floating learning experience exploring the health, biodiversity and future of the River Lagan. With the Office for Environmental Protection and NI Water, discover what lives beneath the surface, how our waterways are changing and why healthy rivers matter to healthy cities. As Belfast’s river continues to shape the city around it, this unique experience offers a chance to learn, look closer and think differently about our relationship with the water flowing through our doorstep.

Bring along your much-loved clothing and discover the joy of fixing, repairing and giving things a second life at our Repair Café in Grand Central Station. Hosted by the Northern Ireland Resource Network, this hands-on clinic is all about practical skills, reducing waste and keeping clothes in use for longer. Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or have never picked up a needle, come along, learn something new and see just how much life your wardrobe still has left in it.
