Whether you’re an experienced photographer or simply love taking pictures, this is an opportunity to sharpen your creative eye and explore how one powerful image can start a much bigger conversation.

What would a climate-resilient, net-zero Northern Ireland look like if young people designed it? Next Generation Climate Change Makers puts young voices at the heart of the conversation. This interactive workshop, led by Climate NI brings together young people to explore the challenges facing our environment and imagine practical solutions for the future. Expect ideas, conversation, collaboration and plenty of blue-sky thinking. Whether you’re already passionate about climate action or simply curious about what comes next, this is your chance to have your say, shape the vision and help create a better Northern Ireland.

What does peace have to do with sustainability? More than you might think. Positive Peace explores the conditions that allow communities and societies to thrive, from strong relationships and inclusive institutions to equitable opportunities and a shared sense of wellbeing. This interactive workshop from Queen’s University Belfast introduces the Positive Peace framework and explores how it can be applied in Northern Ireland. Drawing on evidence from the Northern Ireland Positive Peace Index, you’ll have the chance to explore the connections between peace, prosperity, resilience and sustainable development, and consider what positive peace could look like in your community.
