RE[discover] the secret of diet and nutrition and how it does not only support longevity but improves quality of life. Everyone should have the opportunity to live a long and healthy life, and everybody can experience healthy ageing. Despite significant growing impact, ageing population often does not receive the same level of priority as other demographic groups. Undernutrition is associated with £23.5 billion/year in health and social care costs in the United Kingdom – over half of these costs are related to undernutrition in older adults. Our society needs a balance and empower ageing population with knowledge on how they can age healthy.
Join us for a lunch screening of “The End of Blue Zone”, a captivating Netflix documentary that delves into the lives of people in two distinct Blue Zones—the Greek island of Ikaria and Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula.
