Drop-in at our Climate Café facilitated by Climate Local. Climate Local Climate is a non-profit exploring ways to connect context of the climate crisis to action. It does this through explainer posts workshops and research projects. Through context people make connections that improve understanding and association, ultimately encouraging action.

This Climate Café is a welcoming and safe space to engage in meaningful conversations about climate change. These community-organized sessions provide an open yet structured environment to explore the emotional impact of the climate crisis and discuss how to turn those feelings into positive action. Whether you’re feeling anxious, hopeful, or uncertain, this is a space to share, listen, and discover ways to make a difference together. Let’s navigate the climate conversation and take steps toward a more resilient future.

Carol Lemmens - Arup

Carol is Arup’s Global Advisory Services Portfolio leader and interim Europe Property Business leader.

He was instrumental in developing Arup’s position paper to define the circular economy in the context of the built environment and developing Arup’s work as the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s (EMF) knowledge partner for the built environment. He continues to work to raise the awareness of the circular economy approach from general first principles to practice by identifying the many challenges, enablers and opportunities available to Arup and others in making the circular economy a reality. Carol regularly contributes to Circular Economy and thought pieces, presentations and interviews globally. Most notably, Carol was invited to give a key note address to the United Nations General Assembly at their Circular Economy event, in October 2018.
