Come and join us on the COP26 transport day to avail of a range of activities showcased by partners including Translink, Big Loop Bikes and Connswater Community Greenway, including:
- Get on board Translink’s first zero emission all-electric double-decker bus. Find out more about the steps being taken to revolutionise and decarbonise NI’s public transport system to be climate positive by 2050, while creating advanced services and networks to be your first choice for travel today, for tomorrow.
- Browse active travel stands, including Connswater Community Greenway, to find out more how you can switch to a more sustainable way of transport.
- Bring along your disused bike (parts) and donate them to the Turnaround Project for repurposing and reuse for people in need;
- Get your bike upgraded to face the dark months ahead! Bike mechanics from Big Loop Bikes will be on site to provide free bike repair services, while PSNI will be present between 12-2pm to get your bike marked for free, using the Bike Register scheme. This is also a great opportunity to receive great tips and advice on how to maintain your bike and prevent it from being stolen.
